Documents: Assets

The Documents sub-tab is displayed by default when first accessing the Attach tab. The Documents page lists the documents associated with the asset or the asset classification. These documents and images are displayed on the Attach tab for any work order generated for this asset, and can be displayed on corresponding work order reports.

The features to add, edit, remove, and view documents are similar in all modules of Maintenance Connection and are described fully in the following sections:

Organizations that use both Maintenance Connection and Meridian have two additional buttons on this page:

  • Meridian Explorer: Click this button to navigate to the Meridian application and view documents associated with the asset.

  • Meridian Upload: Click this button to navigate to the Meridian application and go through the upload process. Documents uploaded to Meridian are associated with the asset record from which you initiated the upload process.
